Nathan is a week old today! Here are some stats about Nathan:
- Nathan was 7 lbs 10 oz at birth and 21 inches long
- Nathan "shrunk" at his first pediatrician's visit to 20 inches long since the swelling in his head from pushing went down
- Nathan has some hair that looks brown and some that looks blond with a really light patch of it at the crown of his head
- Nathan's nickname is "Nate"
- Nathan likes eating, being swaddled, staring at mommy and daddy, being read to, being sung to, and rocking
- His favorite book is "Oh the Places You'll Go" by Dr. Seuss
- His favorite song is "Brown Bear, Brown Bear"
- Nathan does not like having his diaper changed, having his clothes changed, being naked, being woken up, sitting or laying in anything other people's arms when he is awake
- Nathan's mommy and daddy adore him

I really have enjoyed reading your past 3 updates. Nate is so lucky to have such a wonderful mommy. You're doing a great job even in the face of challenges - so strong. I can't wait to meet him and talk with you more. Enjoy every moment!
