Four Month Birthday

Nate's four-month-birthday was September 8th so I am about 10 days behind on posting (quite good for me, actually). It was a work night, so I made his cake with the help of Betty Crocker. This was the first month we actually had to worry about his hands getting into things (especially the candles). EVERYTHING goes towards his mouth these days. He is sucking his thumb (and other fingers), putting toys in his mouth, giving open mouth kisses, basically trying to grab everything and anything and bring it to his mouth. Some other highlights of the month include serious efforts to roll onto his stomach, enjoying tummy time more, listening to story after story, real interest in other babies- particularly those bigger than him, trying rice cereal- so far he's not a fan, tapping us when we aren't devoting our entire attention to him, sleeping more, and generally being a happier guy.
